Alumni and partners in the Dean’s Circle have contributed over $160 million to the University of Maryland. At a recent celebration in College Park, Dean Prabhudev Konana honored the 127 households that have each invested over $100,000 to empower Smith School students and facilities.

Smith's community plays a crucial role in developing our world-class business education. In addition to giving their time, our alumni and partners make financial gifts that allow our students to thrive in school and on their career journey.  On October 29, the Smith School hosted alumni and supporters in College Park for the fourth celebration of the Dean's Circle. The Dean’s Circle is a recognition society for individuals who have invested over $100,000 in the Smith School in their lifetime.

“These supporters empower our students, faculty, programs and facilities,” said Dean Prabhudev Konana. “Their commitment is transforming the Smith School as we lead into the future.”

The event recognized all members of the Dean’s Circle, which now includes 127 households. Collectively, members of this giving group have contributed more than $160 million to the University of Maryland.
