Smith Parents Visit Campus for Jazz & Dessert

On Sept. 12, 2014, current undergraduate students and their parents came to campus for a special “Jazz & Desserts” reception at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Grabielismo Productions Jazz Trio entertained the crowd and nearly 120 families enjoyed a relaxing evening mingling with deans, faculty and staff in Van Munching Hall’s Pownall Grand Atrium.

Obed Molina, class of 2015 Operations Management Major and Business Analytics Minor said, “I thoroughly enjoyed the event! It was great to show my parents what the Smith School has to offer and introduce them to faculty and staff. My parents feel more involved in my journey at Smith because now all the names I constantly mention to them have become faces. My parents were delighted with this event and look forward to the brunch this Spring.”
