#CandidConversations Virtual Series: Core Confidence (Part 1)

#CandidConversations is MACPA’s newest discussion series designed to create a safe and engaging space for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion conversations to take place. Hear from leading voices in the profession as they grapple with and confront issues of race and gender inequity while also detailing the effect those issues have on the CPA profession.

“Core Confidence” is the next event in our discussion series. Confidence – everyone wants it and no-one wants to admit to not having it, yet the truth is most successful executives will say “There are times when I don’t feel confident at all”. Confidence is elusive, which is why we have spent years researching and delving deeply with people in workshops to really understand why confidence is the cornerstone to:

  • Creating the career and life you want
  • Setting and enforcing healthy boundaries
  • Resilience – the ability to bounce back when things go wrong or fail

Hear from course authors, Fiona Pearman and Kate Boorer, and take part in our live panel discussion – Moderated by Kimberly Ellison-Taylor and including Fiona or Kate, MACPA Chair Avonette Blanding, and Vice Chair Lexy Kessler.
