Tori Sacks is the Co-Founder and Program Director of the Stephen M. Schanwald Sports Management Program at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. With over a decade of experience in teaching and program development, she specializes in sports business education, with a focus on experiential learning, innovation, and sports entrepreneurship.
In her current role, she leads the strategic direction and growth of the Schanwald Sports Management Program, including curriculum design, industry partnerships, and student engagement initiatives. She teaches courses in sports business that emphasize real-world application, preparing students to navigate and lead within the evolving sports industry.
Tori’s background includes extensive experience designing and facilitating undergraduate courses, leadership programs, and professional development workshops. She is particularly passionate about creating high-impact, student-centered learning environments that integrate industry insight with practical skill development. Her work in sports entrepreneurship and innovation supports students in thinking creatively, solving complex problems, and building meaningful careers in the sports industry.
In addition to her professional work, Tori serves Delta Gamma Fraternity in a national role providing marketing and communications support as a Fraternity Director. In this capacity, she partners with staff, chapters and volunteers to strengthen communication strategies, support organizational initiatives, and enhance member engagement across the organization.
Through her leadership, teaching, and commitment to student success, Tori Sacks continues to advance the mission and impact of the Schanwald Sports Management Program.
