Mark D. Flood is a visiting research scholar in the Smith School's Center for Financial Policy. From 2020-24, he was a program manager at DARPA's Information Innovation Office (I2O). He has also taught finance in the U.S. and Canada, and he has spent over two decades in financial policy and regulation at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, Office of Thrift Supervision, Federal Housing Finance Board, Federal Housing Finance Agency, and the Office of Financial Research in the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
