Kate Balcerzak has worked at the intersection of public affairs, stakeholder relations, and initiative management to build solutions with impact. Most recently, Kate served in the White House Office of Public Engagement as the Special Assistant to the President and Director of Partnerships and Private Sector Engagement. In this role, she fostered two-way dialogue with Fortune 500 CEOs, trade associations, and entrepreneurs on behalf of President Biden to bring the business voice into the federal policymaking process on such topics as clean energy, manufacturing, and health research.

Previously, she worked at PepsiCo where she represented the company to U.S. lawmakers, the diplomatic community, and NGO leaders on key policy issues and community investments. During the Obama Administration, Kate served at the U.S. Department of State where she advanced U.S. foreign policy goals through initiatives with private sector and civil society stakeholders in over 160 countries. She began her career on the presidential and senate campaigns of then-Senator Hillary Clinton. A proud Maryland native, Kate currently resides in Washington, DC and holds an MBA from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business and a B.A. from Fordham University.
