John Stewart is director and executive-in-residence of the Smith Enterprise Risk Consortium at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. He previously served as chief risk officer of BECU and was an original member of SERC’s Advisory Council. Stewart has nearly three decades of financial services experience and holds a doctorate in mechanical and aerospace engineering.
