This summer, the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business is catching up with MBA students working as interns at top companies throughout the country.
SMITH BRAIN TRUST — Walls of yellow lockers have popped up at Shoppers grocery outlets around Maryland, dwarfing the Redbox machines that customers have grown used to seeing near store entrances. The lockers belong to Amazon, which is giving the option of ordering online and then picking up in store.
It may still feel like the middle of summer, but orientation events are already underway at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business for the 2016-17 school year.
Full-time MBA students will take part in a two-week orientation that begins on Aug. 8.
International MBA students are already here at Smith to kick-of their program.
