Welcome to the Office of Smith Programs
and Events (OSPE) at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of
Business. We provide a central resource for the full service planning
and/or consultation for over 200 annual Smith School programs and events that
include: academic conferences, center events and programs, alumni events,
development and donor events, dean’s office events, corporate events, graduate
and undergraduate student programs, meetings and other departmental events.
Events are held in a variety of locations including: Maryland, Washington, D.C.,
Virginia, and New York.
We enjoy connecting faculty, staff, students, alumni, and external communities
through the production and management of Smith School events and programs. The
OSPE office is here to help the Smith community with the planning process, from
initial calendar and space request, to developing the program and logistics to
menu consultation and full service production of the event or program.
