Jingyi Qian, assistant professor of accounting and information assurance, arrives with a PhD from Emory University's Goizueta Business School. Her research focuses on financial reporting, Artificial Intelligence (AI), big data and the cryptocurrency market. Her current work includes a working paper, “The Value of Auditor Assurance in Cryptocurrency Trading,” and she recently published “The Benefits of Transaction-Level Data: The Case of NielsenIQ Scanner Data” in The Journal of Accounting and Economics.
