Join the Terp Changemakers and CSVC for an evening with Ashoka fellow Greg Van Kirk and UMD's own Ben Simon to hear the stories behind the making of a social entrepreneur. Engage with other student social entrepreneurs from around the University to learn about the resources and networks that exist on campus to help you get “Empowered to Start” your own enterprise to address the issues you are passionate about. Smith School’s “Argentine Terps” Take First Prize for at this Year’s Do Good Challenge (April 10)
Celebrity judges Fran Drescher, Carl Lewis, and Melanie Schnoll Begun awarded the $5,000 First Prize in this year’s Do Good Challenge to the Argentine Terps, which raises funds to pay for lawyers to work in the slums of Argentina. Learn more
