Alex Tran '19 Talks About His Winter Break “Wow” Experience

Victor Mullins, associate dean of the undergraduate program at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business, recently asked Alex Tran '19 to share his unique experience during this past winter break. Alex’s Winter Break "Wow" Story is part of his Smith journey and it may be an inspiration to others. It may also be the beginning of what will distinguish him during networking opportunities and job interviews. Alex is a finance and information systems double major with a minor in sustainability studies.

Freshman Noah Alviti Receives United Way's Hometown Hero Award

Victor Mullins, associate dean of the undergraduate program at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business, was recently informed by the United Way of Western Connecticut that Noah Alviti, a freshman finance major, was honored with the 2017 Hometown Hero Award by the United Way of Western Connecticut. He is the youngest recipient to ever be awarded this honor in an adult category.

Kyle is majoring in accounting and finance and expects to graduate in May.
