Maryland Smith Welcomes New Faculty

The University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business welcomed eight new faculty members for the start of the fall 2019 semester. The new faculty joined three Smith academic departments to teach courses and focus on research.

The Decision, Operations and Information Technologies Department added four faculty members:

John Bono, associate clinical professor, has a PhD in information systems from Nova Southeastern University.

Jui Ramaprasad, associate professor, has a PhD from the University of California at Irvine.

New Faculty – Fall 2012

The Robert H. Smith School of Business welcomes 14 new faculty members to start the fall 2012 semester. The new faculty members hail from PhD programs and previous posts at top universities worldwide, including two former Smith School staff members who joined the teaching ranks. Smith students will also benefit from a stable of new adjunct instructors who bring their real-world experience into the classroom. The new faculty kicked off the semester at Smith with an orientation and welcome dinner on August 27.
