The Master of Science in Accounting program at College Park is designed for full-time students. The College Park program can be completed in 10 or 16 months depending on your track. International students who require student (F-1) visas should plan on completing the program in no more than 16 months. Students, subject to enrollment, select from three tracks:
- Internal Auditing -- for individuals interested the field of auditing with special emphasis on internal auditing
- Public Accounting -- for individuals who have only completed the minimum required accounting courses (Managerial Accounting and Financial Accounting); those who have completed multiple accounting courses or majored in accounting should not choose this track
- Taxation -- for individuals interested in careers in taxation, e.g., tax planning and compliance
For individuals who wish to mix some courses from the Internal Audit and Taxation tracks, a general accounting option can be discussed with you advisor after your admission.

Individuals will work with a Program Advisor to register for courses based on their track selection. The curriculum and length of study will vary based on track offerings:
- Internal Audit: 10 or 16 months
- Public Accounting: 16 month
- Taxation: 16 months
