A former FBI executive and internationally recognized consultant, Lauren C. Anderson has exercised her expertise in high-risk domestic and international situations, global conflict and terrorist incidents, diplomacy, and business in many different areas throughout the world. She led FBI offices, post 9/11, in France/Africa, covering 22 African countries. During this time she launched and provided oversight for three new FBI offices in Africa. She then led the FBI’s New York Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), the largest JTTF in the U.S., with more than 50 participant agencies and the FBI's New York Intelligence Division.
Anderson teaches a range of topics including Women’s Leadership, Law Enforcement Leadership, Risk Management, Crisis Management and Use of Authority at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland.
