The fall Smith Undergraduate Career Fair will take place on Friday, September 20, 2019, at the Xfinity Center at the University of Maryland's College Park campus.
7:30 a.m.: Employer Check-In & Set-Up
9–10 a.m.: First Look Fair for Freshmen and Sophomores
10 a.m.–2 p.m.: Career Fair
Employer registration will open in early May on HireSmith. This year's fair is expected to sell out, so employers are encouraged to register early to secure a booth!
Registration package includes an 8' x 8' space (16' x 6' for double booth) with skirted table (6' x 2') and chairs, continental breakfast, catered lunch, wireless access, parking, fair app inclusion, booth signage, and access to an electrical outlet (if requested on registration form). Price for single booth includes four attendees while double booths include eight attendees. Attendees over the stated limit will incur a $100 fee per attendee.
Please note: Booths are assigned only when payment or proof-of-payment-forthcoming is received.

Directions, Parking & Accommodations
The Xfinity Center is located at 8500 Paint Branch Drive on the University of Maryland campus. Employers will receive parking instructions prior to the date of the fair.

Visit our Conferences and Visitor Services website for accommodation options. The College Park Marriott Hotel is closest to the Riggs Alumni Center, but there are many additional hotel options adjacent to campus, including The Hotel at the University of Maryland.
Advantage Conference & Expo is coordinating the freight for the Smith Undergraduate Career Fair. Fair materials that need to be shipped to the event will go through Advantage, and companies can also arrange for return shipment after the fair. The shipping guide provides a comprehensive overview of the shipping process, timeline, and rates. Please note the deadline for shipping materials to the fair through Advantage without incurring additional costs is September 10, 2019.

- Advantage shipping deadline: September 10, 2019
You may cancel your registration before Friday, September 6, 2019, at 11:59 p.m. EST to receive a full refund and not owe a fair registration balance. All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to email@example.com. Failure to cancel in writing by the cancellation deadline will leave the employer responsible for the registration fee, regardless of circumstances.
All other cancellations made after this deadline - including cancellations made by employers who register after the cancellation deadline - will still be billed and no refund will be administered. Employers who register and do not show up to the fair will also remain responsible for payment.
Inclement Weather Policy:
Should the event be canceled due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, credit will be given for a future fair.
Club Connection Fair
All career fair company registrants are invited to a unique opportunity to engage with student leaders from Smith's 26 undergraduate business student organizations. On the evening prior to the fair, you'll be invited to network with student leaders, learn about exciting club activities happening this year, and find out how to connect with members of these great student organizations! Participation in this event is complimentary with your regsitration for the fair. More information will be included in your career fair registration confirmation.
