Patricia is privileged to lead the talented team that drives Office of Career Services (OCS) engagement, development and outcomes. Across the OCS organization – career curricula and programming, career coaching, employer development, alumni engagement, customer account management, technology, and operations – the mission is to facilitate great jobs at graduation for Smith students.
The OCS team partners with the portfolio of undergraduate and graduate students, employers, alumni, staff, and faculty to effect excellent employment outcomes and great relationships that support the Smith strategy. Patricia joined the school in 2017 and has been focused on building the “Be fearless” student-OCS engagement model that focuses on co-active partnership to join the experiences of the career services professionals with the intentions, ambitions, and career goals of each student.
Previously, Patricia served as senior assistant dean and director of executive career development for the MBA Career Center at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business. In her 10 years at McDonough, she worked extensively with business students from all over the world, contributing to her deep appreciation for diverse, global perspectives and the value of strong business leadership.
Patricia holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and politics from Catholic University and an executive master’s degree in leadership from Georgetown. She is a Certified Career Management Coach and Certified Personal Brand Strategist and she has recently completed her certification requirements in Leadership Coaching at Georgetown’s Institute for Transformational Leadership.
