As a customer account coordinator in the Office of Career Services (OCS), Luke is responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of recruiting partnerships between Smith and companies in the aerospace/defense, consulting, government, nonprofit, education, logistics, transportation, manufacturing and professional services industries, including accounting firms (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC, Grant Thornton). Luke is responsible for creating strategic recruiting plans to fit each company individually, regardless of company size or hiring needs. He carries out all recruiting logistics to ensure seamless events and on-campus interviews. Luke manages these recruiting efforts on HireSmith, which is the website specific to Smith students and recruiters.

Luke joined Smith in 2014. His first position was in higher education at the College of Southern Maryland where he also earned an associate’s degree in Spanish. Luke also holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from the University of Maryland. When not at work, Luke can be found cheering on Washington, D.C., sports teams, and has a healthy obsession with FC Barcelona.
