Jeffrey L. Stoltzfus
Associate Director, Career Services Technology and Data Integration
Jeff has served on the Office of Career Services (OCS) team for six years: five years as a career coach for full-time MBA students, and one year in his current technology role. The focus of this role is to combine career coaching and technology strategy to support and improve the diverse set of technology tools and platforms within OCS – fostering more effective career journeys for Smith students.
Jeff brings to OCS a wide variety of business experience from his career in database software development and project management. His industry experience includes telecom services, telecom technology products, and IT consulting/government contracting. During 11 years of IT consulting with three firms, he has served clients in the telecom, financial, non-profit, military logistics, and financial regulatory fields. He also has experience planning and pursuing a start-up venture during his Smith Executive MBA (cohort 7) program. He has been commended for empathy, teamwork, and a genuine interest in people. He is excited to be combining his technical background and industry experience with his passion for coaching, creative problem solving and connecting people.
Jeff earned his Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Messiah College, and his Master of Business Administration from the EMBA program at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. He is also pursuing an Associate Certified Coach credential with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
