Director, Full-time MBA Career Coaching
Dori has been a member of the full-time MBA career coaching team in Smith's Office of Career Services (OCS) since July 2012. In her role, Dori provides hands-on coaching to ensure optimal alignment of students’ personal and professional objectives. She also leads the coaching mentorship strategy of OCS’s Leadership Fellows, which is a group of second-year full-time MBA students with a special distinction as graduate assistants with OCS. In addition, Dori serves as the OCS liaison to a variety of student clubs including the Masters Consulting Club, Human Capital Association, Black MBA Association, Smith Pride Alliance, Jewish MBA Association, Media Sports and Entertainment Association, Middle Eastern MBA Association, and the Professional Communications Club. Dori enjoys partnering with stakeholders across the OCS team to help build and execute strategies which will enhance student development and employer partnerships.
Prior to her role at Smith, she spent more than seven years as a recruiter with PricewaterhouseCoopers focusing on experienced and campus recruitment. During her time with PwC as a campus recruiter, Dori’s priority recruiting source was the Smith School, which was consistently a top 10 campus source for the U.S. firm. In addition to recruiting many of Smith’s undergraduate students, Dori recruited MBAs for internships and full-time roles and learned quite a bit about the talent and caliber of the MBA program.
Dori earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bowie State University and Master of Science in Human Resources Management from the University of Maryland, University College. In addition, she holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
