Smith School of Business were very popular at Van Munching Hall’s front desk earlier this week when they gave out cups of Fair Trade iced coffee and chocolate along with information about mental health services available on campus. Smith School of Business celebrated its partnership with the Maryland Department of Commerce by hosting a discussion about "Maryland Open for Business" with Mike Gill, Secretary of the Maryland Department of Commerce, and Smith School Dean Alex Triantis. More than 100 students, faculty, staff, and local partners attended the event, which was sponsored by the school’s Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) and Office of Global Initiatives (OGI).
