Every graduating cohort has students who are shining stars, and it is with great fanfare that Victor Mullins, Associate Dean of the Undergraduate Program, celebrated them on May 3, 3018, at an annual awards banquet. The event also honored a few faculty members who were nominated by seniors and a retiring professor who has been a positive influence on the Undergraduate Program at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Hundreds of volunteers packed more than 28,000 meals on April 24, 2018, as part of a weeklong Smith Pride initiative at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.

The schoolwide Terps Against Hunger event, launched by the Smith Undergraduate Student Association (SUSA), was the first of its kind at the Smith School. The event served as a way to connect the Smith community to the larger efforts of a campuswide charitable endeavor, according to SUSA.
