Forty graduate students from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, visited the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business for a two-week study program, Jan. 8-19, 2018. Eight Smith School faculty shared their expertise with the students on topics ranging from international business to personal branding and from integrated marketing to supply chain management. The array of content shared with the students showcased the Smith School’s vast areas of expertise.

For Senior Finance and Accounting double major student Jessica Martins, the Emerging CFOs program has been transformational. “The classes feel more personal and the professors have such a strong connection to the program, she said. She further stated that it was hard to pinpoint exactly what makes the program so special, but added the main reason was “this desire to help their students grow and excel in their professional futures.”

Former Terps quarterback Frank Reich, a 1984 graduate of the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, will be the new coach of the Indianapolis Colts in the National Football League. Reich recently earned a Super Bowl ring with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he served as offensive coordinator for two seasons.
