The Day the Markets Roared with Henry Kaufman

Legendary economist Henry Kaufman shares a classic story that has never been fully told: a first-hand account of the day in August 1982 that would define US economics for decades.

After years of painfully high interest rates and inflation, on August 17, 1982, the stock market posted its second biggest rally since WWII, bond prices soared and interest rates plunged. It was Kaufman who wrote the memo that helped spark this boom that would last for decades.

David Sicilia will interview Kaufman about his new book that details that recounts this momentous day.
