In the classroom, in the workplace and in life, learning is enhanced by diversity. Yet it can be an awkward topic for many people. The Diversity Action Forum was created to help the Smith School community understand, embrace and not shy away from the difficult, yet enlightening topic of diversity.
Sponsored by the Smith School’s Office of Diversity Initiatives, the Diversity Action Forum gives students, faculty and staff the opportunity to engage in real, authentic conversation about diversity in the classrooms, case rooms and office suites within and beyond Van Munching Hall. The sessions are private and led by experienced facilitators to provide a safe, supportive environment for attendees.
The first event this semester is geared towards our full-time MBA, specialty masters and undergraduate student populations, and will provide them with tools and takeaways that they can use immediately.
