We are currently working to provide scholarships to members of the Smith Latinx community to attend the ALPFA National Convention at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center located in Nashville, TN. The convention will take place during August 3-6, 2019.
For those of you who do not know what the convention is, let me provide a quick background. The convention is a truly special experience for students. Thousands of purpose-driven Latinos will gather for a week of learning, networking, and professional growth. ALPFA's corporate partners are waiting to meet talented individuals like you, offering jobs and internships on the spot! I personally, attended that convention last year and anyone who has attended I'm sure can agree that it is an unforgettable experience. You meet lots of people, you grow professionally, visit a new place, have so much fun, and most importantly you can land an internship or a job.
you can find more about it at www.alpfa.org/page/alpfaconvention (there are videos here as well).
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED AND BELIEVE YOU CAN ATTEND DURING THOSE DATES, please fill out this survey.
Deadline to sign up: Monday, June 17, 2019, 6 p.m.
If you have any other questions, please don't be afraid to reach out and share with anyone who may be interested!
