This workshop series is all about improving your academic performance with skills for success. We will help you get organized, get focused, and get motivated to take charge of your academic life.

Are you learning a language or would like to share your language with other speakers? Join the Language House Chats and come practice for free in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.

In response to the wave of recent anti-LGBTQ+ legislation that has been launched in states such as Florida, Texas, and other southern states, the UMD community will come together to “Say Gay” together.

Pride Prom is an event allowing students to proudly attend prom, dress however they are most comfortable, and dance - without fear - with whomever they choose. This event is for LGBTQIA students AND straight-supportive allies. There will also be drag performances! Sponsored by SGA. 

Close of APIDA Heritage Month by celebrating our campus community with us! With a gathering of different Asian American student organizations, enjoy an evening of performances, recognition of this year's accomplishments, and a celebration of our graduating students.

This workshop will address common student mental health concerns, ways to communicate about mental health with students, available mental health resources (including the Counseling Center) and how to refer to them, and methods of coping for everyone involved.

Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis.

Join ALPFA-UMD, NABA, and Cohn Reznick professionals as we volunteer for Martha’s Table and make sandwiches for those in need.
