Professor Wendy Barnes Bassett teaches BMGT 353 – Retail Management and BMGT 350 – Principles of Marketing. She joined the University of Maryland in 2019. She is actively involved with the Society for Marketing Advances, presenting and publishing frequently at conferences and collaborating with colleagues. She also helps non-profits improve their marketing skills. Professor Barnes earned her BA in Arts Management and Theatre from Mary Baldwin University and her MBA in marketing and finance from the University of Memphis, where she is now pursuing a PhD in marketing.
