Media Manager, Ed Snider Center
Saul Stoogenke joined the Ed Snider Center as a media specialist in early 2020 and in January 2021 became the center's part-time media manager. With a passion for visual storytelling through photography, video, and design, Stoogenke joins the University of Maryland with a wealth of experience spanning published media, government agencies, and the corporate sector. He began his career as a photojournalist for publications like the Baltimore Sun, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and Patuxent Publishing Company before continuing on to Baltimore Housing and Stanley Black & Decker where he developed comprehensive visual content strategies and directed award-winning creative teams.
Stoogenke supports the marketing and programmatic goals of the Ed Snider Center by developing a creative style that effectively communicates the brand’s messaging. He will continue to implement new and creative ways to promote the center and engage audiences with one-of-a-kind content. Stoogenke considers himself to be a jack-of-all-trades and is an award-winning photographer and creative director, patented inventor, award-winning children’s book author, and most of all a father and husband who loves to spend a Sunday smoking a brisket and watching football with his kids.
