Assistant Dean and Executive Director, Office of Career Services
Patricia Reich is the assistant dean and executive director of the Office of Career Services at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. Her career team partners with the portfolio of undergraduate and graduate students, enlisting an entire set of Smith resources to effect excellent employment outcomes for all graduates.
Patricia comes to the Smith School from Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, where she was a senior assistant dean of the MBA Career Center and director of executive career development. In her 10 years at McDonough, she served in the spectrum of career center roles with increasing responsibilities. She has worked extensively with business students from all over the world – both in the U.S. and abroad – contributing to her deep appreciation for diverse, global perspectives and the value of strong business leadership.
Patricia holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and politics from Catholic University and an executive master’s degree in leadership from Georgetown. She is a Certified Career Management Coach and Certified Personal Brand Strategist. She is also currently pursuing her certification in Leadership Coaching at Georgetown’s Institute for Transformational Leadership.
