Snider Executive Fellows

Executive fellows are business leaders who embody the enterprising spirit of the Ed Snider Center. Through formal learning, personal resilience, and deep engagement with others they show outstanding achievements in innovation and leadership in their industry. Their efforts in business promote thriving workplaces and consensus-driven approaches to problem-solving. Executive fellows advise the Ed Snider Center and share their expertise with staff, students and faculty. Fellows also connect the center with organizations and other business leaders encouraging additional collaborations and partnerships.

Robert Fredley

Robert Fredley is an innovation strategist with a proven track record of creating visionary products, building award-winning teams, and providing strategic direction for a variety of industries. He is passionate about innovation at the confluence of design, and technology and as a digital native with cross-industry experience, he has helped some of the most successful brands on the planet. Fredley has unique expertise in program strategy & management, e-commerce operations, digital product innovation, marketing strategy, and technology consulting for clients in a variety of industries serving multiple B2C and B2B customer segments. Fredley is a Smith EMBA alum.

Daniella Taveau

Daniella Taveau is a visionary leader with a proven track record of success in designing and implementing global strategies. Taveau works with senior-level political officials on complex regulatory, management and policy problems. Taveau is a highly skilled lobbyist, communicator, speaker and presenter who is able to effectively persuade a wide range of international and expert audiences. She has worked with the FDA, EPA and King & Spaulding and is the founder and president of Bold Text Strategies. Taveau is a Smith alumna.

David E. Welch

David Welch is a well-rounded leader with more than 30 years of broad functional experience including financial, legal, marketing, and operational expertise. He currently owns and operates multiple construction companies that employ over 275 employees and generate over $100 million in revenue. He is an intuitive leader who works to streamline operations while developing cost-effective processes. Welch strives to bring out the best in every company by bringing out the best in each company’s employees. Welch is a Smith alum.

David Yang

David Yang has more than 25 years of experience in the technology sector holding various executive positions responsible for driving the growth and adoption of leading-edge technologies. He is currently a senior vice president at ITG where he works alongside clients in the public and private sector to create and deliver digital transformation initiatives. He is responsible for driving the adoption of emerging technologies enabling digital transformation in the public and private sectors to include Appian, ServiceNow, Salesforce and Amazon Web Services. Yang is a UMD alumnus.

Oscar Santana Zeballos

Oscar Santana Zeballos has an extensive background as a broadcast host and producer. He is well-known for his work on the nationally syndicated podcast, The Mike O’Meara Show, and also for the Big O, Dukes, and Tech 411 podcasts. In January 2018, Zeballos co-founded Podcast Village Studios, a company that regularly produces programming for a variety of clients including ESPN, the Daily Beast, and the Robert H. Smith School of Business. Zeballos is a Smith alumnus and was named the 2018 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Dingman Center of Entrepreneurship.
