Enterprise through Literature Program

ETL intellectually stimulates and empowerment to high school students by exposing them to guiding moral and ethical philosophies found in literature that underpin enterprise and markets. The program takes a two-pronged approach. In a summer workshop and through an on-line course approved for continuing education credit by the University of Maryland, ETL trains English teachers and works with them to develop curricula that highlights the principles of enterprise and the role of the individual in Utopian or Dystopian societies. The second facet of ETL is an essay and video contest for students built around literature and curricula developed by ETL teachers. The Snider Center has built and maintains a web site to support this program and it can be found at enterpriselit.org.
