The Global Business School Network is a member-based nonprofit organization that focuses on improving access to quality management education for developing countries. The network includes more than 70 business schools spanning six continents and CGB Executive Director Rebecca L. Bellinger from the Smith School currently serves on the organization’s executive committee. 

Register Now for Worldwide Cross-Cultural Business Challenge

GBSN member schools are invited to participate in a worldwide Cross-Cultural Wireless Business Growth Challenge organized by the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. The competition will begin in late January 2018 and will take place over the course of two months. The simulation is focused on financial decision-making and forecasting in a cross-cultural environment.

Participating schools will create one team of 4-5 MBA students to compete in this online competition. Every team must have one faculty advisor. By taking on this role, the faculty advisors will develop skills and knowledge related to online simulations. All teams participating will receive a certificate of completion after the competition. A prize will be awarded to the winning team.

Smith School Co-Hosted the 2017 GBSN Conference

The Robert H. Smith School of Business co-hosted the Global Business School Network (GBSN) 12th Annual Conference, which took place November 1-3, 2017, in Washington, D.C. The event was also be hosted by the Kogod School of Business at American University and the George Washington University School of Business.
