The Center for Global Business at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business successfully hosted its fourth annual Global Open House on Tuesday, September 10. The center showcased all of the global opportunities available to students at the Smith School including study abroad programs, global internships, on-campus programs, scholarships, case competitions and more.

The Center for Global Business (CGB) launched a new portfolio of business language opportunities in this year as part of a commitment to the goals of the Title VI CIBE grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Over 120 recently returned study abroad students participated in the Fourth Annual Global Showcase on February 14, 2019. Aug. 14, 2018 (College Park, Md.) — A new partnership with India’s S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research will give the University of Maryland its first dual degree graduate program with an institution outside the Maryland system. Participants will earn a Master of Quantitative Finance from Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and a Global Management Program Certificate from S.P. Jain, a leading business school in Mumbai.
