You must be logged into Novell in order to install these printers.

MBA Students: How do I get started?

  1. Open your Start Menu and click Printers and Faxes (this may be under a category named Settings)
  2. On the left-hand side you should see Add a printer, click this. A window will pop up, you will want to click the Next > button.
  3. Choose A network printer... and click Next >
  4. Choose Browse for a printer and click Next >
  5. After a little bit a list will appear in the larger box. One of the items in the list will be NDPS Printers, double click this.
  6. Double click NDPS Controlled Access Printers
  7. Double click BMGT
  8. Double click UMCP
  9. Double click bmgt
  10. Double click labs
  11. Locate the printer you want to add and double click it.
  12. A warning will appear saying that drivers are going to be installed on your system. Click Yes
  13. After a couple seconds, some files will be copied to your computer and a dialog will appear asking if you want to set this printer as your default printer. If you want to automatically have this printer chosen when you go to print something, choose Yes and click Next >. If not, choose No then click Next >
  14. When everything is complete, click Finish. There is no need to reboot. If you have any applications that print, you may need to restart them (i.e. Word, Acrobat, Excel, Lotus, etc.)
