office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) Advising appointments are generally
available from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. To schedule an appointment

on the 4th floor and is also available by calling 301-738-6079. (Walk-in
advising hours are for current students. Prospective students should attend an
Admissions Workshop, Transfer Visit or Open House. Due to the size of our
program we can not meet with prospective students during our weekly walk-in
advising hours.)
All Smith School undergraduate students are assigned an academic advisor.
Students enrolled in the Smith School undergraduate program at Shady Grove are
required to meet with their academic advisor each semester to ensure that they
are informed about current requirements and procedures. If you are unsure of
your advisor please stop by the 4th floor of building II for assistance.
Career Advising
All Smith undergraduate students have access to both the Robert H. Smith
School of Business Office of Career Services and the

in Hornbake Library.
The Smith School Office of Career Management has a main office on the College
Park Campus in Van Munching Hall and a satellite office at the Universities at
Shady Grove. For walk-in advising hours or to arrange an appointment with your
