Entrepreneurship Fellows

The Entrepreneurship Fellows Program brings together talented Smith School students to create an entrepreneurial chemistry that will stimulate the creation and growth of new high-potential enterprises. The Entrepreneurship Fellows Program is a special selective track of the General Business major, providing 4 dedicated entrepreneurship courses which prepare students to develop great ideas into viable business ventures.

  • BMGT 361 (Venture Management) Fall 1
  • BMGT 365 (Entrepreneurial Finance) Spring 1
  • BMGT 366 (Growth Strategies for Emerging Companies) Fall 2
  • BMGT 465 (Business Plan for the New Venture) Spring 2

NOTE: Entrepreneurship Fellows is a 4 semester sequential program with a dedicated fellows section each semester. Therefore, substitutions cannot be made for dedicated fellows courses.

Fellows Application Eligibility

This Fellows program is currently offered only at the Shady Grove campus. Students apply as part of the general application to the Smith School at Shady Grove. Admission is competitive.
