 Leading With Purpose
The role of business is irrevocably changing. With unprecedented global
interconnectedness, organizations and their leaders need to consider how
social, economic, environmental and ethical factors directly affect business
strategy. Business leaders are increasingly being called upon to redefine
success and organizational viability through goals that not only ensure
desired business outcomes, but that also enable the advancement of the
quality of life for stakeholders and society as a whole.
Today’s business managers need to be prepared to take on roles of
responsibility that advance a higher cause. Gerald Suarez, associate dean of
external strategy and Ralph J. Tyser Teaching Fellow, will offer pragmatic
insight to enable leaders to address this new leadership imperative.
