Peter C. Fusaro, one of the world's leading experts on energy and environmental markets, spoke at the Smith School of Business on December 5, 2006. Fusaro is the founder of Global Change Associates and the CEO of Energy & Environment Capital Management, LLC. He is also a frequent consultant to governments and the author of What Went Wrong at Enron. Fusaro spoke on the latest trends in energy and environmental markets, including recent policy and technological developments. Fusaro's talk was organized by the Smith chapter of Net Impact and by the Smith MBA Finance Association.

Net Impact, a Smith MBA club, recently hosted a dialogue with the New York Times bestselling author Dr. Mark Albion. Albion spoke on successful leaders and socially responsible businesses. He also highlighted various points made in his latest book, "True to Yourself: Leading a Values-Based Business.

Net Impact Is Chapter of the Year

Last week at the Net Impact Conference in San Jose, the Smith Undergraduate Net Impact chapter (SUNI) at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business was awarded 2013 Undergraduate National Chapter of the Year. The Net Impact conference is a national convening of nearly 3,000 students and professional leaders using their careers to change the world.
