Welcome
By Melissa Carrier, Executive
Director
Welcome to our summer edition newsletter. We have a few
exciting changes at the Center for Social Value Creation. First,
I would like to welcome our new Assistant Director, Guillermo
Olivos. Guillermo joined us just 5 days before the Social
Enterprise Symposium and jumped in with enthusiasm and patience
as we hosted 550 students at Stamp Student Union. Guillermo is a
MBA graduate of the Yale School of Management and worked as a
social entrepreneur in New Orleans after Katrina. His bio can be
found on our website and
I hope you will meet him soon.

| At the Center for Social Value Creation,
we're constantly challenging our students to
find their own unique "moments of obligation" --
the experiences that will shape not only their
future careers and lives, but the lives they
have the potential to change in their roles as
business leaders in the 21st century. Whether
through our Social Venture Consulting Program,
our Global Impact Program, or the many
individual programs and opportunities we create
for our students, the impact of your gift has
the potential to be multiplied many times over.
