Our Facilities
The home of the Robert H. Smith School
of Business is Van Munching Hall, one of
the most advanced facilities in the
world for management education and
research in the digital economy. In
2002, Smith opened a $38-million,
103,000-square-foot addition to the
building. The new wing features
next-generation technology
infrastructure with 21 classrooms.

audio-visual and conferencing
capabilities, building-wide wireless
network coverage, four student computer
labs and five netcentric teaching and
research laboratories. A
$20 expansion of Van
Munching Hall
started in August 2006
and will be completed in
