Shuttle buses replace trains between Greenbelt and West Hyattsville
- Free shuttle buses will replace Green Line trains between Greenbelt and West Hyattsville.
- Local buses will operate between Greenbelt and West Hyattsville, stopping at College Park and Prince George's Plaza; add up to 35 minutes additional travel time.
On the day of commencement as well as the following day of individual ceremonies, the university’s Department of Transportation Services will be running special shuttles for guests and students. Please visit www.transportation.umd.edu for more information.
During commencement there will be several taxis on campus that can be waved down on-site, however there are many services that can be called.

At the College Park Metro Station, minutes from campus, there is a taxi stand. Please note that traffic will be heavier than usual. Also, most cabs do not take credit card.
The most commonly used airport shuttle at the University of Maryland is the Super Shuttle. Reservations can be made online and rates vary. Please make reservations in advance.
