The faculty and staff of The Robert H. Smith School of Business wish to congratulate you on your candidacy for graduation, and we hope your graduation activities will be events filled with joy and celebration.
The Campus Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Cole Student Activities Bldg (please note location). Graduates in their caps and gowns will take part in the processional and will be seated on the arena floor of the Cole Student Activities Bldg. The Graduation Ceremony for the Smith School of Business will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2013 in the Cole Student Activities Bldg (please note location) at 1:00 p.m. and will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. No tickets are required for guests at the Smith School Ceremony. Graduates participating in the Smith School’s Ceremony will line up behind the stage on the arena floor of the Cole Student Activities Bldg and should arrive by 12:15 p.m. Cole will be open one hour prior to the start of the ceremony for guests and graduates to enter the building.
We ask guests and graduates to refrain from bringing noise makers or any other instrument that may distract graduates, speakers, faculty/staff, and other audience members. In addition, we request that all attendees remain throughout the entire ceremony in order to fully recognize all of our graduates.
