specific labs for teaching and research - see

Open Labs
Anyone with a UMID login can use the open labs during
hours that classes are in session.
During semester breaks, hours are
Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM unless posted.
**Note:
These labs are open
unless reserved for a class.
To reserve a lab,
Faculty or staff should
contact scheduling@rhsmith.umd.edu. Reservations will be posted
on the door.
Please report all technical problems to
helpme@rhsmith.umd.edu or by visiting the Office of Smith IT
in room 3520 VMH during normal office hours or 1530A at all
other times.
**Please do not prop open lab doors at any time to ensure
the safety and security of students and equipment alike.
Violation of this policy may lead to disciplinary action or
loss of access to Open labs.**

intended for collaborative work on student group projects.
The Team Spot has no computers. These workspaces do not
require reservations and are available on a first come-first
served basis.
