SG Classrooms
All classrooms in SG Buildings I and III are equipped as
"Smart
Technology Classrooms" with a computer, LCD projector,
VCR/DVD unit and built-in speakers.
Software lists for each room included.
SG Labs
Windows Labs are located in Building 1 in rooms 206-207 and
in Building III in rooms 2103 and 2139. See
Shady Grove's computer labs website for hours and a
software list. There are also 4 iMacs in the back of
the 2103 lab. There's a new Mac lab too, but access depends
on the class schedule. Please check
SG Mac lab website for more information.
UMID - Your University Directory login
Your University Directory ID (link) is used to access applications via the
mySmith portal and
Blackboard
Course Management System. For help with your Directory ID, check call the OIT
helpdesk at 301-405-1500.
Testudo is the University source of web
services for students; including Registration, Campus Calendar, Schedule of
Classes and much more. TIP: Keep your email address in Testudo up to
date - the email address here is where Blackboard sends your
email!
Wireless
The University at Shady Grove provides a wireless
network. Go to their Helpdesk in room 2100 BuildingIII
(contact info below) to get the login information. The login
is updated each semester.
