Smith IT AV Staff enhance the classroom experience by helping
professors to reach students with the latest technology.
The Audio/Visual group is equipped to provide and assist with digital
presentations over a plethora of mediums, audio and
video teleconferences, lectures, panel
discussions, and vocal enhancement.
Lecture Capture with
Panopto is available in our Classrooms. Please contact the AV
Support team, using the AV Request form, if you need help setting up in
the classroom.
To request AV services, please fill out the
Audio Visual Request in advance,
and Smith IT will contact you.
If you have an AV emergency in a classroom, please use the
Call for Assistance button on the touch panel first.

All equipment reservations must be submitted via our
AV Request online form. If you are making a reservation
with less than 24 hours notice you should call Master
Control (x55213) after filling out the form.
At all other times, you may call the Helpdesk at x52269 and they will
direct your call. Outside of Helpdesk hours of operation AV services
staff may be found in:
- Master Control, Room 1530A, x55213 OR
- AV Staff Offices, Rooms 3520D or 3520S, x59411, x59548, and
x52578
Hours of operation
The Control Room is staffed for technical assistance whenever classes
are in session. Normally that means:
- Monday through Thursday, 7:00am until 10:00pm
- Fridays, 7:00am to 6:00pm.

greater demands than usual on our support team during normal business
