Who to call?

When you have a problem, always start by contacting the help desk at 301-405-2269 or email helpme@rhsmith.umd.edu.  If the help desk staff are unable to assist you, they will escalate your call to the appropriate person.  Contacting the help desk is the best way to ensure that your call reaches the appropriate person.  Often, there are several people who can resolve the problem, but directly emailing or calling them may mean a longer wait time due to other responsibilities, illness or vacation.
