Blackboardis the Online Course Materials Development Tool
being used by Smith faculties starting Fall 2002 semester as part of the Smith
School Portal project. The following links have been developed to assist Smith
School faculties and students get answers to common questions.
IMPORTANT Version 7.1 Upgrade
Information
The opportunity to upgrade to the new version of
Blackboard came so late and so quickly that we have not had the chance
to update our documentation yet. Until we get it revised, here is the
latest information we have available for you.
All course sites are being migrated over from the old system. We're
doing a rolling migration to prioritize the courses that we think people
need access to first. The dates and times below are the actual
completion times. As each individual course is copied it will
immediately become available to the instructors and students. If you
don't see something you expect right now, and we indicate below that
that semester has been migrated please
let us know ASAP.
