Important Notice:
Blackboard system will be upgraded to Version
8.0 during Memorial Day holiday weekend.
It will be offline from 12am on Sunday, May 25
through 12 noon on Monday, May 26
to
complete the upgrade.
IN ADDITION:
In accordance with campus
OIT's policy,
courses
more than two years old will be
purged from the servers sometime
mid-summer (end of July),
so If you have courses courses
before Fall 2006 semester and
want to keep a copy of any part
of those courses, please save
any material from those courses
you wish to keep. If you have
any question, please contact us
at
bbhelp@rhsmith.umd.edu as
soon as you can, and we can help
you with that while the course
is still on the server. After
courses are removed, there is
no way to retrieve deleted
course material.
Course sites are not created automatically. If
you want to post your syllabus on Blackboard or present
course materials or grades in Blackboard you must fill out a
Blackboard Course Request Form. Please submit your Summer and Fall 2008
course
requests now.
