A Day in the Life of a CEO at Smith

For several years, the Smith School has hosted CEOs from companies around the world during its popular CEO@Smith presentations. The evening events are only part of a CEO’s experience at Smith — each CEO has the opportunity to customize his or her time on campus, whether a tour of the university or a day of fun with students.

Campus Tours

Before they spill all their secrets about how they made it to the top, CEOs visiting College Park often take a tour of the university’s beautiful campus.

Fireside Chats

CEOs have the option of participating in a more intimate talk with a smaller group of students. This takes place in Van Munching Hall before the CEO@Smith presentation.

Picnics

Some CEOs just want to have fun when they’re visiting Smith, Companies can sponsor picnics for Smith students, giving them a chance to network informally with the firm’s employees and to relax before the evening event.

Dinner

The CEO’s schedule permitting, each CEO@Smith presentation ends with a private dinner with the CEO, members of the company, and faculty and staff at the Smith School.
